Please click on the Registration Tab on the Wainwright Minor Hockey Website(www.wainwrightminorhockey.com) for more information and to register for the 2012-2013 Season.

For RETURNING residents of WMHA (this includes pond hockey players) , you MUST REGISTER on-line between May 1- May 31, 2012 or you will be subject to a $150 late fee. All fees must be paid in full by Oct 31/12 or a late will be applied.

WMHA Spring Annual General Meeting

WMHA will be holding their Spring Annual General Meeting on May 9, 2012 at 7pm in the Communiplex Halls. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The agenda will include nomination of new directors along with a review of the past season and highlights for next season.

IMPORTANT--Hockey Bags and Equipment Storage

After consulting with the President of Wainwright Minor Hockey and the Director of the Wainwright High School Hockey Academy, the following policy regarding Hockey Equipment Bags will be implemented starting Monday, December 19th, 2011.

1. Hockey equipment bags are no longer permitted to be stored at any point during
the day or night anywhere in the PMM concourse (lobby).

2. Equipment is to be stored in the designated west equipment storage room.
Users of this room are asked to please keep this room orderly and functional for everyone.

3. Gear is not permitted to be stored in the west equipment storage room overnight.
All gear must go home at the end of your game / practice in the evenings or it will be confiscated.

4. Any bags that are found by PMM staff outside the designated west equipment storage room or around the concourse fountain through the day will be confiscated.

5. In the instance where gear has been confiscated, on the first occasion athletes and/or parents will have to speak with a PMM staff person to retrieve their gear.

6. In a second instance, the gear will again be retrieved by the PMM staff and a phone call made to the association executive or school physical education representative the next working day, asking that communication be made between the association / school rep and that particular family. The purpose of this communication would be to reaffirm the reasons why bags should not be left unattended in the lobby, or left overnight in the storage room.

Canadian Tire Shut Out Club

Open to any goalies registered with Wainwright Minor Hockey Association.
When your goalie gets a Shut Out, let Cory Jasper at our local Canadian Tire know!
The player will receive a TShirt and a certificate, and their name will be entered in a draw for some Street Hockey Goalie Gear.
